Launching the campain!

Today, monday the 11th june 2018, we start a campain against CIGEO’s monsters, to obtain the withdrawal of all contractors of this absurd project. The first aim of this campain is the INGEROP company, strongly engaged in the CIGEO project.

We wished to warn the 1700 employees of this company of the campain start and they received this morning this mail (in french and english) :

Subject: [Important] Start of the campaign against the CIGEO monsters

Dear employee of INGEROP,

Today, we start a campaign against the CIGEO monsters, to obtain the withdrawal from all companies working on CIGEO.

INGEROP, your company, has an important role in the implementation of the CIGEO project, as mentioned proudly on INGEROP’s website. This is the reason why we choosed INGEROP as the first target for our campaign.

CIGEO, disposal center for nuclear waste of high and medium intensity and long life in Bure in Meuse department in France, is an extremely dangerous project. Besides the fact that burying nuclear waste to be able to forget them reinforces and legitimises the nuclear industry, the project holds in itself high risks : uncontrolled fire outbreaks, environnemental leaks, radioactivity of the gas released from the ventilation systems, leaks and incidents during the transport, etc.

Most of those risks have recently been denounced by IRSN (Radioprotection and nuclear safety institute) and ASN (Nuclear safety authority).

That’s why we call you out to support us in our campain and to pressure the chain of command to obtain INGEROP’s withdrawal from the CIGEO project. Waiting to achieve this goal, we will be forced to undertake actions aiming your company and the people involved in the CIGEO project.

Sincerely,

lesmonstresdecigeo.noblogs.org

P.S. : any confidential information leak about CIGEO or another useless and dangerous project on which INGEROP works arriving on our mailbox will be welcomed kindly. You can contact us at lesmonstresdecigeo ‘at’ riseup.net.
